Our History

Welcome to Grobrand Uganda Limited, formerly known as The Hair Care Centre Ltd, established in 1996 as a wholesale supplier of beauty products. Our journey began with a focus on the retail market, and we soon expanded our presence by opening four retail outlets in Kampala, known as The Body Care Centres.

As our business evolved, we made a strategic decision in 2017 to shift our focus towards nationwide distribution. This marked the beginning of our exclusive partnerships with renowned brands such as Yardley cosmetics and Bakers Biscuits, under the umbrella of National Brands Ltd in South Africa.

In 2019, in alignment with our evolving mission and scope, we rebranded to Grobrand Ltd, a name that better encapsulates the comprehensive work we do in the distribution sector. The commitment to quality and growth has been a constant, and in 2020, we proudly welcomed the esteemed Kenya Nut Company as one of our valued suppliers.

Though we remain a compact team, our dedication to fostering the brands we distribute in Uganda is unwavering. Grobrand is proud to have just over 20 full-time staff, some of whom have been integral members of our family for over two decades. Additionally, we have a dynamic team of 40 part-time contract staff available for in-store promotions and sampling activities.
